May 1, 2006, the BEA Rep Council held its monthly meeting at the Massasoit Conference Center in Brockton. Jackie McDonough, FSO from the Massachusetts Teachers Association was on hand to explain the results of the survey on Brockton Superintendent Basan Nembirkow. Much discussion surrounded the results and a determination will be made at a later date as to the final dispensation of the survey results.

BEA President Joe O'Sullivan gave the Rep Council a synopsis of the Contract Settlement with the School Committee. Joe said he hopes the final packets will be in members' hands by the 2nd week in May in time for the Ratification Vote on Monday, May 22, 2006, 6:30 PM, at Brockton High School.
