at Brockton's Keith School.
The process of mold removal is the opposite of asbestos removal where everything is done under negative pressure. Instead, in the mold removal process, the affected building is pressurized by pumping 110 degree air inside the building to dry and kill the mold.
Three (3) shifts of work crews of 130 people cleaned and treated the interior of the Eldon B. Keith School. The 100 ton crane (pictured below) removed the contaminated air handling system from the roof which is being replaced.
The follow up testing showed higher background readings outside the building than inside and only one swipe sample of a grille in the gym showed measurable mold present.
