BEA Home PageBEA Retirees Reception June 3, 2008
On Tuesday, June 3rd, the Class of 2008 BEA Retirees enjoyed a reception in their honor sponsored by the BEA. The officers, members of the executive team and other BEA staff honored the 40 plus retirees as they close their education careers in Brockton. The reception was held in the Fine Arts Cafe at Brockton High School. The event, catered by the Culinary Arts students, inspired by their teacher and BEA past secretary and past second vice-president Melissa McLaughlin, was an opportunity for the retirees to be honored for their many years of service to the students of Brockton. Each retiree was personally thanked by BEA President Tim Sullivan and was given a set of plaques, recognizing their service to education by the BEA, the PCEA and the MTA.
Not all of the retirees were able to attend the reception but as the photos that follow show, those who did enjoyed their special celebration.
